| Fidel Castro's resignation of the Cuban Presidency presents an opportunity. Sadly, so far that opportunity has resulted in little more than a wait-and-see approach, even from progressive leaders.
Our Cuba policy is remarkably stupid, in almost every way imaginable.
This major change in Cuba gives us a window of time to consider a new direction, lifting the embargo, and giving normalized relations a chance.
Here's my $.02: right now, it's at least worth a shot. |
