Obama tix "sell out" by 11am

If you didn't get your tickets to Saturday's Obama rally, you are out of luck:

Campaign officials said they were passing out 1,500 tickets at Obama's new Front Street office, plus another 6,000 via the Internet for his speech at the University of Montana's Adams Center.
Obama communications director Matt Chandler said the electronic tickets were gone by 10 a.m. Thursday, while the Missoula office handed out its last ticket at 11 a.m.

The number of tickets handed out are disputed; Adams Center staff say, with the auxiliary gym open, the venue can hold 10K.

(Seating is general admission, so if you did get a ticket, arrive early if you want a good seat.)

Given that Obama's appearance was announced only last night, it's astonishing that tickets disappeared so rapidly. While the Missoula crowd probably won't match Boise's 10K+, it's not because of a lack of effort from Missoulians.

Obama offers REAL hope to the American people of all stripes! Billary offers nothing but Liebermania! Billary likes to say that she is another Rocky. What a joke! She's another Tex Cobb, who was brutalized by Larry Holmes but still mangaed to go the distance. Like Tex Cobb, Hilly's got "one of the greatest chins of all time"! Howard Cosell was so horrified after that fight, that he vowed to never cover another fight again! It's PAINFUL to watch Billary get annihilated! Someone should tell her it's over.

Obama will sweep the Dems back into power, and everyone knows it. Hilly needs to stop being a punching bag. A great chin just ain't what we need right now!

A quick note to those who went online for Missoula Obama tickets and felt they were dissed -- check your junk mail. I know a couple folks who thought they didn't get an email back from the Obama campaign for tickets and then found them in their junk mail. Some spam filters worked a little too well this time.

And all of the other Obama emails they send me show up just fine. My latent paranoia tells me that just because I didn't get my Obama ticket, that my country is watching me. ;-)
