| Check this out -- FreedomWorks, an astroturf shop set up by Dick Armey to capture corporate dollars and use them to "organize" conservatives for "libertarian" causes (hence their main target in the health debate seems to be that it may be funded in part through a soda and liquor tax)...but I digress. FreedomWorks brags about storming Max Baucus's Helena office earlier this week.
Watch their whole video. They cut off their own activist mid-sentence because he doesn't appear to be making a whole lot of sense.
This FreedomWorks activism is working closely, near as I can tell, with Patients United, the Jake Eaton group. As you can tell even more, these folks are vastly outnumbered by the number of Montanans who want to see healthcare reform.
Final irony question: how many of the folks in this video are refusing Medicare coverage? I'm guessing not many. |
