The isurance industry (0.00 / 0)
is getting what it paid for...

I think I will bring a resolution to the next Missoula County Democrat meeting stating that if Baucus does not support a robust public option the county party will not help him in any way with his reelection..

As is the more conservative second one... (0.00 / 0)
oh well...I have had little hope for ANY REFORM happening, so why should I be surprised?

Surprise, Surprise (0.00 / 0)

I gotta ask Jay - did you really expect anything different from Max and his committee ?

By the numbers. (0.00 / 0)
74% of Americans support a public option.
43% committee voted for Schumer public option amendment.
35% of committee voted for Rockafeller public option amendment.

If only you could add the support together, then you might get something approaching the overwhelming public support.

Forget the astroturf numbers - according to Rasmussen only about 41% of Americans support Obama care :

if it doesn't have public option of course no-one supports this p.o.s. why would they? we're not masochists. i don't trust this poll normally but if public option supporters and single payer supporters give up on this thing it sounds right. and of course seniors don't trust this anymore after finding out they were being lied to about the cuts to medicare....

let's pull the plug on this. give community medical centers 50 billion to help with the uninsured until we revisit this thing and do it right in 2012 with single payer.

i didn't vote for the kind of change that shovels my money to health insurance leeches so they can get between me and my doctor. i voted for change that does not reward bad behavior. apparently our democratic leaders have stepped on a land mine now and they can't step off and they can't stay there either without blowing themselves up with the public. you must be ecstatic right now eric. what a bunch of morons.
