by: Matt Singer

Sun Mar 25, 2007 at 15:05:55 PM MST

Ed Kemmick looks at the Boggio DUI story in his column in the Gazette today and nails it. His basic message? Take some responsibility.

Road Head? (0.00 / 0)
Brohiem is an elected official and should be smart enough to use proper precautions, like a driver.  Homes could have also rocked the ole 6-and-4 o'clock hand technique along with a radar detector and some back roads, or some red bull and water bro.  As a Montanan, bro, I'm seriously dissappointed that homes got caught; it reflects poorly on our shredder culture.

Maybe he was getting road-head... I got that one time and I drove straight off the road.... I was tooootaly wasted. This girl was even more wasted and hot. Maybe that's what's behind this gnarly controversy... a dead hooker in a trunk somewhere.  I bet Bob Keenan knows. Word.

Road Head??? (0.00 / 0)
Wow!  Careful there, jimmy.  Road Head is an impeachable offense!  Least it was for Clinton!  But following your logic, (such as it is), let's say that Elsie Arntzen was not driving because she was even drunker than Boggio!  It's possible!  And Elsie, a good Republy, is a member of the Yellowstone Co. DUI Task Force!  Can you even IMAGINE?!  Now THERE'S the real story!  Not the fact that Boggio was drunk.  We all know what Boggio blew.  But I wonder what Elsie blew??  Or would have blown given the opportunity to blow?!  I think I know what jimbrah would say, and it wouldn't be .14!!  Straight off the road, huh jimmy??  Wow!

Casually plowed? (0.00 / 0)
I like how he makes his defense sound all casual, and almost draws sympathy from the reader.  We can envision the whole third-glass-of-wine-over-dinner story line, and can even relate.  Then you read the number .14 and it's a total laugh.

'Evidently' it was too much indeed.

Then again, I understand Rep. Laslovich recently told a judicial cmte. hearing that he's never tasted alcohol. Never tasted alcohol.  So much for the 'citizen legislature.'  Somewhere deep inside, I hope he was lying. He's a good guy... I just hope he's tasted booze, and that whole birds and the bees thing. It's good stuff that stuff.

To each their own (0.00 / 0)
I dunno, I was around Jesse and his family quite a bit a few years ago and it was true then.  I've got a Guinness in my hand right now and as much as I love it, I've got admire someone who says "I don't need it."
