Here's a fact that Dennis Rehberg probably hopes you won't notice: He skipped three votes in the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday evening, July 13.
Why? Apparently he thought defending his lawsuit against firefighters in Billings was more important that day.
See the roll calls for yourself (scroll to the bottom to see the list of representatives "not voting"):
*Vote 434
*Vote 435
*Vote 436
Whatever these votes were about doesn't really matter. As Montana's only representative in the House, we pay him to vote when there are votes to make.
The bottom line: On Tuesday, Dennis Rehberg put his own political problem over the job he is paid by taxpayers to do.
That's worth remembering, isn't it? |
