Denny's Indifference

 Terry Heinecke

Yesterday I mentioned my belief that indifference is the antithesis of love.  Today I would like to mention another long held belief - that the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting different results.

 Enter Terry Heinecke.

It was 1977 when Terry first partnered her life's energy with the high energy information sponges otherwise known as second graders.  Apparently she tried it, she liked it and she pursued her own personal growth as she directed and acted all the roles necessary to assist those high energy information sponges and their families seque into the life role of  third graders.

That is another story for another day, so let's get back to Terry.

In 2004, Terry defeated a rare colon cancer; and life with her high energy information sponges and her husband Tom went back to normal.  That is, until 2011 when a tumor on her collarbone brought her face to face with the bottom line of an insurance company that was idifferent to her wellbeing, indifferent to Tom's impending loss of companionship, of partnership, and utterly indifferent to the undiferentiated  faces of children and their families that Terry had hoped to teach and mentor until the next stage in their lives.

The rest of the story is here

I do not know Terry or her husband Tom, but it is entirely possible that other people in my life, or yours, may be connected to Terry and/or Tom and/or any of the thirty some years of her second grade students and their families.

If you care about this, or any of those people, I want you to know that our sole Congressman, Dennis Rehberg, fought to prevent the the proletariat like Terry  Heinecke, her husband Tom, most of her students and others like me from having decent care ior representation in the health care field of life.

Worse than that, he positioned himself to claim ownership of Thirty -three purely symbolic  Congressional votes to stop the rest of us from attaining parity with the all powerful so called health care providers and insurance carriers.  I do not understand why anyone would vote for someone who is indifferent to their well being.

That is why I am asking you to vote for Jon Tester this fall.
