| It is quite a shame that so many of us flawed humans do not know how to manage our feelings in a healthy and productive way.
Some people relentlessly nitpick,find fault and try to control every little thing others do. Sometimes angry or fearful people will try to control other people.* Sometimes they feel so desperate they will try to forcibly inject their personal ideology into other peoples intimate affairs**.
Perhaps they deny other people's feelings and experiences.
Publicly denigrating less powerful coworkers is an inappropriate expression of anger. So is withholding legal protections from women who have been traumatized by violence.
What of those who terrorize women's health clinics or someone who snaps let's hurl some acid at those female Democratic Senators online?
Some religious fundamentalists were taunted beyond their emotional ability to maintain appropriate behavior. They reacted very badly, losing control of themselves and causing a lot of heartache.
It is not okay, but it is also not different than bombing an abortion clinic.
American's have had much experience with misguided ideological violence at home.
We should treat the Libya incident the same way we treat Americans who also have not chosen to handle their emotions like an emotionally healthy adults.
