I see in the GF Tribune today that they quoted daines as saying that he wants to "give leadership back to the people".  Now THERE'S a catchy phrase if I've ever HEARD one!  What a maroon!  I mean, analyze this for a moment.  It implies one of two things, both dumb as cow flop.  1.  We currrently don't HAVE a leader, but we do.  And a very, very popular one.  Or 2., the people can lead themselves!  Hence, from the gitgo, it appears to this pundip that  daines is too freakin' DUMB to run.  And hence, the perfect Pubbie candidate!  Hey, you never know.  Maybe this is  just the first in a trend.  Mr. daines is gonna give EVERYTHING back to the people.  Where DO the Pubbies find these guys?

They are just trying to be clever. There whole point is just to gut the state system. (I thought these guys prefered to have the state pay for services.) And instead of looking like total douche bags they are prolly gonna throw out a lot of cute phrases like "Give integrity back to Montana." maybe "Give reach-arounds back to the little guy" (It's the least you could do), or perhaps "Give syphilis back to our sexual partners."
