Kickin' ass, takin' names, Jimmy Carter style

by: Jay Stevens

Fri Jan 11, 2008 at 08:06:23 AM MST

It was bound to happen. Jimmy Carter is pissed (parental guidance advised):

Oh, what's that I hear? The weather's all screwy? You got a global warming problem? Boo-fucking-hoo! I was telling you morons to turn off your lights and unplug all your shit at night to conserve energy in 19-fuckin'-75, for chrissake. Gee, I wonder what woulda happened if we'd all switched to solar power like I fucking did back when we had a fucking chance to do something about it. Think we'd still be sucking Saudi Arabia's dick like a five-dollar whore?

OK, that's it, I'm outta here.......... (4.00 / 1)
Jay, you should be ashamed of yourself for posting this filthe.....the only positive thing I can say about this post is it didn't have Matt Singer's name on it, he's got more class than to put garbage like out under his name. I realize this is "The Onion", and yes I have read their tripe before but this one is absolutely over the top. I'm logging off this site for good, it's obvious that folks with any kind of a middle of the road, common sense approach to politics have no place here, so you wild eyed boys and girls on the left just go nuts entertaining yourselves with trash like this, I'm going to go out and try to make a constructive contribution to society and mankind in general by doing something more uplifting and worthwhile, and after reading LITW today and for the past few months it's obvious to me that anything I have to offer is not appreciated here. Thanks for the cheap entertainment but it's time to get on with it and try to reason with folks who have some constructive solutions to the state and world's problems instead of being pulled into the gutter reading X rated filthe. Happy New Year to you all and may you all find something better to do with your time.

Jimmy Carter--ahead of his time.  America's last visionary president. A phrophet in his own land, and you know what they say about those guys.  I bet in his heart, he's thought exactly what the Onion's satirist expresses--maybe not in the same language!

All the best

I am an old guy--damned near as old as Jimmuh. (0.00 / 0)
And I've been known to think things like that--even to think things like that in that kind of language--but to actually post it on a forum with which my name was associated?
Naw, I don't think so.
To make sure the message was made widely available, I would have made a link available; but it was too preposterous!--Pastor Carter venting in such a way?--to have excerpted it--on--my own forum?
Naw..!

It's called satire... (0.00 / 0)
...and the language, IMHO, makes it dangerously funny b/c Prez Carter would never ever ever ever ever ever ever write anything like this...

Jimmy Carter style... (0.00 / 0)
This posting is certainly not in the style of Jimmy Carter.

I wish you hadn't posted this item.  Why don't you see if you can have it removed?  It's embarrassing.

It's The Onion! Have you never seen it?
